About Anya
Hi! I’m Anya Reddy.
PCI Certified Parent Coach® & Certified Synergetic Play Therapist
📍 Based in Bengaluru | Available at Barton Centre & Online
I support children, caregivers, and families in navigating emotional overwhelm, building secure connections, and creating lasting change. My approach integrates trauma-informed Synergetic Play Therapy with strengths-based Parent Coaching—offering safe, structured spaces where both kids and caregivers can feel seen, understood, and supported.
I work with families navigating grief, anger, anxiety, behavioural challenges, trauma, transitions, and everyday parenting stress. Whether we’re building emotional regulation through play or redefining family rhythms through coaching—our work always starts with connection.
What I Offer
🧸 Play Therapy for Children (Ages 3–17)
I use the natural language of play—sand trays, stories, art, movement, and metaphor—to help children explore and express what words alone cannot. Play Therapy supports children in processing big emotions, loss, aggression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Sessions are attuned, grounded, and developmentally appropriate. 👉🏽 Learn More About Play Therapy
🤝 Parent Coaching (PCI Coaching Model™)
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual—but it can come with support. As a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, I offer structured, goal-oriented coaching sessions to help you find clarity, calm, and confidence in your parenting. This isn’t about “fixing” your child. It’s about reconnecting to your values and leading from that place—even when things get tough. 👉🏽 Explore Parent Coaching
🤰 Support for Expecting Parents
Pregnancy and early parenting are tender and transformational seasons. I support individuals and couples in exploring their roles as parents, aligning values, and preparing emotionally and practically for this new chapter.

Ongoing supervision and personal therapy
Continuous professional development
I regularly engage in clinical supervision with senior practitioners and mentors. This is a confidential and professional space where I reflect on my work, seek guidance on complex cases, and ensure I’m upholding the highest standards of care.
Supervision doesn’t involve sharing personal or identifying client details. It helps me stay grounded, self-aware, and aligned with best practices—so I can show up with clarity, compassion, and integrity in every session.
I also attend weekly personal therapy. This might surprise some, but I see it as essential. Just like I ask my clients to commit to growth, I commit to my own. Therapy helps me stay regulated and emotionally available in every session. In this work, being regulated matters more than being perfect.
I also prioritise ongoing learning by attending conferences, workshops, lectures, and specialised training in Child Psychology, Play Therapy, and Parent Coaching. Learning is a lifelong process—and your family deserves a practitioner who stays updated and accountable.
This isn’t surface-level work. It’s rooted in safety, curiosity, and emotional integrity—because I believe that’s what truly supports growth.
What I Believe
🧠 Children don’t need to be “fixed”—they need to be felt.
👣 Parents don’t need to be perfect—they need to feel supported.
🎨 Play is a child’s language. Connection is the medicine.
💛 We heal in relationship. Always.
